Harpenden plays on Friday evenings at 7:30pm at the Katherine Warington School on Lower Luton Road. A Friday game is a grand way to close out the working week, and the group here has taken to it well. This is genuine over 50s football, running football played at pace, for men who still love to compete rather than take it easy. Harpenden and the surrounding Hertfordshire villages have turned out a keen and friendly crowd, and new players are made welcome straight away. You do not need to have played recently to join in. What matters is the desire to get back out there and feel part of a team again. If that sounds like you, come along on a Friday.
