Wellingborough plays on Friday evenings from 7 to 8pm at Wrenn School in the town, easy to reach from Rushden, Irthlingborough, Finedon and the villages around Wellingborough. The Friday evening game is a proper end to the week, real running football played at a genuine pace for men who are not ready to give it up. The group is friendly and easy to settle into, with a good spread of ability and age, and plenty who came back after time away from the game. If you are around Wellingborough or the wider Nene valley and you miss the buzz of a match and the company of a team, come and try it.
